Vilamendhoo is a simple 3-star-resort with wonderful palms and an exciting house reef.
Negative: lots of moskitos and noise of the airtaxis. (Flying over the island on sunday very early in the morning). And they should renovate the bungalows too. Best places are in the east and south; some ugly walls in the north. But we had wonderful 2 weeks in January 2008 and we can recoomend Vilamendhoo if you are not searching for luxury and 5-star-kitchen.

Staying on Vilamendhoo in May 2011. Island has recently been refurbished and is receiving lots of positive reviews on tripadvisor. Cant wait to see for myself. Will comment when we return.
