Half of the water bungalows look to be wonderfully located just behind the reef edge and so promise fine snorkelling. The other half looks into the lagoon and should be excellent for swimming, though not so convenient for snorkelling.

This was formerly the uninspired resort of Lhohifushi but it has been transformed by the Sri Lankan company Aitken Spence. It should be a fine mid-range resort with excellent service – but I can't yet confirm this.
