Eriydu Resort
March 2011
We arrived just after the fire in resort, they just got a barge and jcb and cleared the rubble away just after a few days started to build a new swimming pool and coffee shop and bar this should be finished by April so let us know what it is like as it was well on its way when we left for home.
The island is charming the reef fanntastic and swimming with the manta rays is soo cool well worth the trip.
We found all of the staff to be very helpful including the staff in the dive shop. the superior room we had was clean and newley decorated the lighting in the room was the best that we have encounterd in the Maldives yet, also loads of storage space/hanging space etc.
The beach is fantastic and the reef so close to get to. And snorkelling with the Turtles is an experiance .
The food we thought was good and a good choice and was replaced at regular intervals when low it was (hot) and some spicy but we found it to be of a good standard.
As some reports have not been very kind to this little gem of an island i thought that i must put things right.
Do visit this island it is charming the reef is fantastic and good food plus it will also have a new swimming pool cant understand why when the reef is so good but ther you go.
